My body, My choice

It’s the slogan of the Aurat March campaign you can, you can deny. And it’s your headache if you don’t want to deny it.

Islam already gives us ways of spending life. What we should do and what not. So my body my choice is the wrong slogan. If you mean you want to do with your body whatever you want to do whether it’s wrong or right.

Need and wants:

Need:

First, we have to learn what freedom is. You need freedom. Freedom is what? There is freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, You can study, you can do a job, you can go outside, you can marry the person you like. Is this is not freedom? Your need is fulfilled but some things should be better.

Want:

You want more than freedom. You want immoral freedom that you do immoral activities. You want to follow European culture that is not of your status.

Women:

It’s not my choice, it’s my duty.

It’s My Choice:

My choice is to wear a burka.

My choice is to use a veil to cover my face.

My choice is to wear those types of clothes that cover me.

My choice is to wear a hijab.

My choice is to use gloves to cover my hands.

My choice is to cover my whole body.

My choice is to Obedient to parents.

My choice is to Obedient to the husband.

My choice is to Obedient to in-laws.

It’s my choice to fulfill all the requirements of Islam.

It’s my choice to become the role model for my children.

It’s My Duty:

My duty is to wear a burkah.

My duty is to use a veil to cover my face.

My duty is to wear those types of clothes that cover me.

My duty is to wear a hijab.

My duty is to use gloves to cover my hands.

My duty is to cover my whole body.

My duty is to Obedient to parents.

My duty is to Obedient to the husband.

My duty is to Obedient to in-laws.

My duty is to be obedient to Allah and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) because I am a Muslim.

It’s my duty to fulfill all the requirements of Islam.

It’s my duty to follow the steps of Umahat-Ul-Momineen and Hazrat Fatima Zahra (R.A)

It’s my duty to like the choice of Allah.

It’s my duty to become a role model for my children.

Men:

It’s not my choice, it’s my duty.

It’s My Choice:

My choice is to cover my whole body.

My choice is to care for my wife.

My choice is to Obedient to parents.

My choice is to become a role model for my children.

My choice is to fulfill all the requirements of Islam.

My choice is to be respected by the in-laws.

My choice is to lower my eyes.

My choice is not to abuse physically and verbally.

It’s My Duty:

My duty is to cover my whole body.

My duty is to lower my eyes.

My duty is not to abuse physically and verbally.

My duty is to become a role model for my children.

My duty is to care for my wife.

My duty is to Obedient to parents.

My duty is to be respected by the in-laws.

My duty is to Obedient to Allah.

My duty is to Obedient to Hazrat Muhammad ( S.A.W)

My duty is to become a role model for my children.

My duty is to fulfill all the requirements of Islam.

I am a Muslim. Allah’s choice is better than our own choices.

Conclusion:

As a Muslim, these are our duties but we pretend them as a choice.

We are Muslims Pakistan is an Islamic country.

Is this being the sensible thing that an Islamic country we follow the un-Islamic rules and cultures?

It’s our duty to cover our whole body. It’s not our body it’s the depositing of Allah and we cannot use the depositing of Allah with our choices.

What is the perfect body?

Body shaming is one of the biggest problems in today's generation. Society doesn't just find humor in degrading a women's body; they also find humor in degrading a man's body. Body shaming has become a problem for both genders. People take their own insecurities and aim them at other people to make themselves feel better about their own bodies. Body shaming, while common in both genders, is especially harmful to women.

Today's generation doesn't see wrong in expressing their opinion. That is true, but shutting out anyone with a different body type then this is not okay.

What is the "perfect body"? Magazines put the spotlight on the girls, and for the most part, cancel out girls that are a size 0. This is to take a picture of the "perfect body". This is not realistic. Society has created this image that the perfect body someone must have or he/she is shut out, meaning people see their body negatively. "If people learn that everybody is a human on the inside, then they will realize that they are human on the outside and they will stop judging other people’s bodies"

The frog of a well

Frog in the well is a Chinese idiom which means a narrow-minded person. A frog that lives in the well feels that it is the only world.

This proverb describes an individual who cannot or refuses to see the big picture. For example, you have no idea what skills are required because you are stuck in the same job with the same skills for a long time.

Anyone can relate this to his/her life experience and condition. Suppose a person working as a teacher in the same school for many years doesn't have an idea about what's advancement is going on in other schools until he hears or sees or joins another school. He feels that he knows everything. He has many skills but once he is forced to move to any other school, he gets to know that what he knows is not enough. He doesn't have enough skills. In a new place, he will learn a lot and a lot. Also, his perspective will be changed about everything.

Taking some of the examples of an angry Principal: If you are seeing your Principal harsh attitude towards employees there are chances that you will be like that or you think Principals are like that it's normal. But once you moved to another school and saw that the Principal is behaving very nicely and is cooperative with employees your perspective will change. You will learn how to be nice even when you are on high posts. We all knew about the story of a frog of a well. It's not mean that frogs only live in a well. It is a well-known proverb.

Same as that you are going to learn about rules, teaching techniques, and creativity. You will get polished. But if you will stick to the same place and the same people you are not going to explore the world. There is a need to stick to some people forever but not with all.

We were born as blank-minded. We don't have any knowledge of anything. With time we learn many things. We learn how to speak and walk. Learn the names of the things. Learn face and eye expressions. Learn how to wear clothes and shoes.

Learning is a lifetime process. We all do that all over life. Learning about society is very important because we all are living in different societies and cultures.

·                  We always learn something.

·                  Little information is not enough.

·                  We should learn.

·                  We should explore things.

We should learn all the things. Book knowledge is not enough. We can seek knowledge from newspapers, magazines, people, and different things.

9- Don't mock others based on any physical abnormalities or on natural inferiorities you are not just making fun of them but staring at GOD's creation.

10- Never taunt or twit others for the things which they can’t control or are not in their possession.

11- GOD has created every being in the best possession.

12- Natural differences are just to show the beauty in all its shapes, forms, and design. the skin tone, physical features, height, etc... all are just to differentiate one from other, to fill the world with colors, if all are in a unique form and harmony, there would be no such beauty to discover. GOD has given us a variation and made us wonder by such charms and grace hidden in each and every element.

Degree a symbol of literacy

Nowadays we are focusing on achieving higher degrees. And we all are run like a sheep yard and follow others.

Matric, Intermediate, Bachelor's, Master, M.Phil. and now Ph.D. People are now achieving more and more degrees to maintain their standard. Education matters a lot but it is necessary to seek education for knowledge not for the higher standard or for higher degrees.

The degree is very valuable. A person gave his or her many years of life to achieve these degrees. And these are not a single piece of paper it has worth. All these degrees are right when they full fill their purposes. Education changes minds and attitudes. A person should dare to change the norms. For example, A male educated person should educate his daughter and change the norm of society. If he has no courage, is these degrees are valuable?

A female is educated and does not do anything for her rights. When her husband beats her badly every day and she adopts the poor culture of society. And forgive him every day for the sake of her marriage and “What society will say?”. Is this degree being beneficial for her?

The purpose of this degree is to raise your voice for truth and your rights. An educated person does not adopt the poor culture of society and change society.

Another fact is that both education and skills are very important. Everyone should have skills. Skills matters a lot. If you are an educated one but didn’t have any skills this education did not give you any benefit. But sometimes education also did a better role where skill is useless and knowledge is useful.

Education and skills both are very important for an individual. We should all work hard on ourselves for both purposes.

Keywords

  • ·   Education is a basic right of a human being.
  • ·   Education made the difference between thinking of an educated and illiterate.
  • ·   We should achieve a degree for the sake of knowledge and information.
  • ·   Skills matters a lot.
  • ·   An Individuals should also have any Skills.
  • ·   It's not a degree that makes you literate or illiterate but it’s what your knowledge has made you.

Erase the word "I can't" from life

“Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you”—RUMI

How we can do what we want to do?

There is 100 percent of people who have high dreams and there is only 1 percent of people who have willing power. We can see dreams at night but willing power needs day and night struggle. A struggle to awake at all the nights and give sacrifices. Willing power is much important in life to achieve something such as we eat and drink.

The word “Cannot” reduces the willing power of a person and make them useless. This single word steals all the purposes of life, hope, dreams, struggle, and achievement. Eliminate this word from life’s dictionary for the betterment of life.

Sacrifices which are given for achieving something in life:

o   Not giving proper time to family and friends.

o   Struggles want that a person should only give sacrifices and did struggle.

o   A father wants to give luxury life to his family and cannot attend the commendation ceremony of his children because he has fear of salary deduction.

o   A mother doing a job for securing a future and cannot take proper diet. And also, could not give proper to her children.

How our willing power can be affected?

Discouragement: Remember one thing in life that people are there to misguide and discourage you. But we should be one who can work hard and achieve all the things that we need.

Health: If we are healthy, we can work better, and if we are unhealthy, we became lazy.

Laziness: Our laziness can take away many opportunities from us.

Over-thinking: Overthinking is a very common issue that can be lower the strength of a person. How I can do it? There is no commendation? Who will give me chance?

Social norms: An active female who has a bright future in the industry of TV anchoring but refuses to work because of social norms. And fear that family ends the relationship.

A feeling of Lower Acceptance: The complexity develops a feeling of lower acceptance in us. And we feel that no one can accept us. Short height, fair color, family background, status, caste (In some areas people are depending on the caste system).

Examples:

o   A female gives sacrifices and is used to save his money for securing his future.

o   A male person lowers his expenses to buy a New BMW car.

Similarly, if we can live some years of our life uncomfortable then we can achieve all the things in life that we want. We should live an uncomfortable life and give sacrifices to achieve all the things that we want. After achieving we have so much time to take rest and live comfortably. We should courage ourselves by own and makes a positive environment.

Enhance your willing power

Take a step forward and do that thing which you want. Enhance your willing power makes impossible things possible.

The word “Cannot: steal all the happiness from our life and in the last days of life. We can regret and think about why we accept all the social norms which are the barrier between our dreams.

Q: Why I didn’t struggle for my dreams?

Q: Why I went in complexity?

Ask some questions from yourselves: Choose it or lose it.

Question 1: Which thing gives you happiness? Choose it.

Question 2: What do you want to achieve in life? Choose it.

Question 3: How you can struggle for it? Choose it.

Question 4: Who is the barrier between your happiness? lose it.

Question 5: What is stealing your willing power. Lose it.

Sources: Willing power of an individual makes the paths. So, don’t think that you have limited resources and commendation.
